LaFleur Minerals Launches Major Drill Program at Swanson Gold Project in Québec

LaFleur Minerals Inc. has announced a significant 5,000-meter diamond drill program at its Swanson Gold Project located in Québec's Abitibi Gold Belt. This drilling initiative follows encouraging exploration results that included high-grade grab samples reaching up to 11.7 g/t Au. The program represents a crucial step in the company's broader strategy to restart its 100%-owned Beacon Gold Mill by early 2026, marking an important advancement in the company's operational timeline.

The company has identified more than 50 drill targets through comprehensive geophysical surveys and soil sampling, highlighting the substantial potential of the Swanson Gold Project. To support these expansion efforts, LaFleur has appointed Peter Espig as Strategic Advisor, bringing extensive experience in capital markets and mill operations to the team. Espig's expertise is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing the company's objectives and securing necessary project funding.

LaFleur is currently engaged in advanced discussions with institutional and private equity groups to secure financing for the Beacon Mill restart, which is estimated to require an investment of C$5–6 million. The mill restart aims to generate near-term cash flow through bulk sampling and toll milling operations, representing a significant milestone in the company's growth trajectory. The Beacon Gold Mill, capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day, is being considered not only for processing mineralized material from the Swanson project but also for custom milling operations for other nearby gold projects.

The Swanson Gold Project encompasses approximately 16,600 hectares strategically located near Val-d'Or, Québec, with excellent accessibility by road and a rail line running directly through the property. This accessibility enhances the project's development potential, offering direct access to several nearby gold mills. The company's efforts to consolidate a large land package along a major structural break further emphasize the strategic importance of its operations in the region, positioning LaFleur Minerals Inc. as a significant player in advancing district-scale gold projects within the prolific Abitibi Gold Belt.
