Search Minerals Inc. has announced results from its 2025 channel sampling program at multiple prospects in southeastern Labrador, revealing critical rare earth element grades comparable to existing resources and confirming additional mineralized zones. The company reported multiple channel samples at the Fox Run prospect with widths up to 18.18 meters, with critical rare earth element grades comparable to the Foxtrot Open Pit Indicated Mineral Resource.
The sampling program covered the Fox Run, Foxy Lady, Krazy Fox and Silver Fox prospects, all located within the emerging Port Hope Simpson-St. Lewis Critical Rare Earth Elements District. The results confirm additional mineralized zones along the same regional trend between the Foxtrot and Deep Fox deposits, supporting potential resource expansion. These findings are advancing several prospects toward drill-ready status within the district.
Search Minerals is focused on finding and developing Critical Rare Earth Elements, Zirconium and Hafnium resources within this emerging district. The company controls a belt 63 km long and 2 km wide that is road accessible, on tidewater, and located near three local communities. Search has completed a preliminary economic assessment report with resource estimates for Foxtrot and Deep Fox and is working on three exploration prospects along the belt which include Fox Meadow, Silver Fox and Awesome Fox.
The company has continued to optimize its patented Direct Extraction Process technology with support from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, and from the Atlantic Canada Opportunity Agency. Search has completed two pilot plant operations and produced highly purified mixed rare earth carbonate concentrate and mixed REO concentrate for separation and refining.
